Bookkeeper
ABGi USA is a respected mid-sized CPA firm seeking a full-time Bookkeeper. The role involves managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with tax laws while providing client support in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Record all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
Maintain general ledger entries and ensure accuracy in journal entries
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements)
Assist with year-end closing procedures and tax filing preparation
Process payroll for multiple clients while ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and firm policies
Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding accounting and financial matters
Assist clients with financial records and support the resolution of accounting issues
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of bookkeeping or related accounting experience
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable managing changing workloads
Sound judgment and proven problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working both independently and within a team
Experience supporting multiple clients simultaneously
