They are seeking a Design Engineer who can tackle challenging design problems, enhance the in-house design system, and collaborate with other engineers to create effective design implementations.

Responsibilities
Tackle our most challenging design problems and help others improve their designs by expanding and enhancing our in-house design system and consulting on bespoke work
Redesigned our mobile web app by talking with customers who use it often, wireframing new flows, implementing its design system, and using it to make the wireframes a reality
Built a set of flexible, composable components in our design system that allow other engineers to build custom autocompletes. These autocompletes can contain filters, options to create new records, etc
Helped another engineer improve their design's information hierarchy and scannability for viewing a candidate’s assessments
Qualification
Required
Experience in designing and building software
Ability to iterate on design ideas in code
Proficiency in using design tools like Figma
Experience with React component system
Ability to redesign applications based on user feedback
Experience in wireframing new flows
Ability to implement design systems
Experience in building flexible, composable components
Ability to consult on bespoke work
Experience in improving design's information hierarchy
Strong communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team
Experience with TypeScript, React, GraphQL API, Node.js, Postgres, and Redis (or similar technologies)
Strong debugging skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
Preferred
Experience in talent acquisition software
Experience in building products that are approachable to beginners
Experience in working with diverse teams
Experience in pair programming
Experience in writing product and tech specs
