Sales and Marketing Manager

US Installation Group is seeking an inspirational and strategically minded Sales/Marketing Manager to lead a high-performance sales operation focused on direct-to-consumer sales of premium home improvement products. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing lead flow, and ensuring exceptional customer experience while building and coaching the sales team.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan and strategy aligned with aggressive company revenue goals, emphasizing high conversion rates for pre-set appointments and qualified leads
Drive hands-on, full-cycle sales efforts in a player-coach capacity, focusing on complex in-home negotiations and closing high-value contracts
Establish all core Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the field sales process, including lead qualification, appointment setting, and in-home presentation standards
Lead the staffing process: recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding sales representatives with the specialized skills needed for in-home consultative selling in the home improvement sector
Implement a high-impact coaching and training abilities program focused on product knowledge, financing options, objection handling, and maximizing one-call close rates
Utilize strong motivational skills and adaptability to foster a positive, accountable, and supportive team culture for field representatives
Select, implement, and rigorously manage the core CRM software and sales stack, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, appointments, and field results
Apply analytical skills and data interpretation to continuously refine sales techniques, specifically optimizing metrics like appointment-to-close ratio and average ticket size
Manage the sales department's initial budget development and ensure efficient use of lead-generation and selling resources

Required

3-5+ years of demonstrable success in full-cycle, direct-to-consumer, in-home sales, specifically within the home improvement, remodeling, or related industries
1-2+ years in a team lead or sales management role overseeing a field sales team
Demonstrated expertise in Sales Planning and Strategy Development and a proven track record of setting and meeting ambitious sales goals in a commissioned environment
Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and utilizing sales metrics for forecasting (focus on field KPIs)
Experience in selecting, implementing, or administering CRM software
Solid background in process management, process improvement, and effective goal setting for independent field reps
Exceptional Leadership Skills and a proven ability to Inspire and Motivate high performance in commission-based field sales roles
High degree of Emotional Intelligence crucial for effective relationship building with both team members and homeowners
Superior Effective Communication (written and verbal) and sophisticated Negotiation skills essential for closing high-value home contracts
Demonstrated Adaptability and Problem-Solving Skills in establishing new functions and navigating ambiguity
