Responsibilities

Strategic Planning, Sourcing/Operations Execution
Develop and execute short and long-term strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency
Create multi-year roadmap of strategic initiatives, continuous improvement, and supplier development programs
Own and analyze the master financial reporting of business supplier costs, operational performance, and inventory management; identify opportunities for continuous improvement, value-add/value-engineering projects and other cost savings projects
Use knowledge/expertise to manage operations, cost drivers, changing supply base, and market innovation to capture lower costs and/or high value alternatives to meet stakeholder needs
Establish relationships with functional and regional leaders to ensure operational and sourcing strategies align with our business goals and objectives. Collaborate on the smooth implementation of product changes, and operational execution
Collaborate with Operations, Engineering and Quality teams to ensure customer needs are met and develop and maintain quarterly supplier scorecard system
Create sustainable and consistent processes for strategic sourcing initiatives, Operational improvements, RFQ/P, and commodity management
Regularly adapt sourcing strategies in relation to market trends and business requirements to enhance effectiveness
Develop and own strategic matrix of suppliers to identify risks, gaps and opportunities in supply chain, including the development of new suppliers, dual/multi-source strategy, management of sole sourced suppliers when required, and exit strategies for suppliers that don’t meet supplier standards
Support operations and product development to ensure contingencies and buy/make/partners are appropriately evaluated and identified
Assess the supply market, our current and future state to develop sourcing strategies and risk mitigation; includes monitoring tariffs to proactively manage impact on business
Support and influence New Technology Development programs in a cross functional setting with product management, engineering, manufacturing, and quality to identify emerging technologies and potential suppliers
Own results for key performance metrics and the annual budget
Acquire a deep understanding of the supply markets that provide material, products, or services
Identify and aggregate technical, commercial, risk, opportunity, and demand requirement for contract negotiation. Lead negotiation and execution of key agreements
Lead the development and execute the Supplier Management strategy and including Supplier Relationship Management, Performance Management, Issue Resolution, and the identification/ onboarding of new suppliers. Utilize formal processes for supplier selection, qualification, contracting and management
Logistics Coordination: Oversee the movement of goods from production facilities to distribution centers and ultimately to end-users
Continuous Improvement
Work closely with long term suppliers to manage core supply base for productivity/cost down initiatives through the use of VA/VE tools
Actively optimize the company’s production capabilities by driving a continuous improvement process to measure current performance, identify opportunities, develop plans and effect change to improve results
Manage footprint rationalization program
Champion and drive total cost of ownership (TCO) reductions
Attract, retain, motivate and develop high performing, diverse teams
Drive positive employee engagement
Provide effective and appropriate communication to all employees to ensure timely and consistent information; this includes facilitating regular All Employee and skip level meetings
Provide monthly report to the HQ and regional leadership team highlighting progress against initiatives, employee feedback and operations
Set and communicate standards of performance and appraise employee performance
Drive completion of employee training initiatives
Ensure that changes to policies, procedures and standards are communicated and implemented accordingly, including site safety procedures

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Five (5) years of Supply Chain management and strategic sourcing experience in a global environment
Five (5) years of formal leadership/people management experience
Proven track record in driving productivity and value add through continuous improvement, negotiations and supplier management
Strong understanding of global supply chains, logistics, and continuous improvement
Sound knowledge of operational processes, including production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and quality control
Experience in outsourcing, contract management and supplier management
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate across organizational levels (production employees, engineering, sales, leadership)
Strong leadership and team building skills with proven ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve outstanding results
Experienced negotiator with excellent supplier management skills
Ability to be both strategic and tactical
Demonstrated ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams
Strong organizational, collaboration, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines

Must be available for short notice international and domestic travel

Preferred

10+ years of Supply Chain management experience in the Oil and Gas industry
Master of Science in Supply Chain Management
ASCM, APICS, PMI or ISM certification
Understand principles of accounting and finance
Demonstrated experience in supplier qualification and management
ERP experience
Trade and regulatory compliance experience
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Ability to travel to countries where WIS operates
