Trust & Estates Paralegal
LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Trust and Estates Paralegal to join a dynamic legal team in Pittsburgh. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in all aspects of estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
Human Resources
Responsibilities
Assist with probate filings, including opening and closing estates
Draft and manage trust documents, wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
Coordinate asset transfers, trust funding, and beneficiary distributions
Maintain and reconcile trust accountings and financial records
Communicate with clients, financial institutions, and court personnel
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda as needed
Support attorneys with hearing and trial preparation when applicable
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate required; CPA or Master's in Tax a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software (e.g., iManage, Neos, Case.net, PACER)
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
