Senior Voice Engineer

The Senior Voice Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Cisco Voice environment, managing performance monitoring, configuration, and support for various voice and video systems.

Responsibilities

Execute performance and statistical monitoring and develop procedures and best practices to improve overall environment
Manage configuration, deployment and maintenance of multi-site Cisco VoIP Network and multi-site Cisco UC Environment Design, including managing and supporting the CUBE environment
Acquire, maintain, and report on data related to VoIP network performance management, capacity planning and utilization trend analysis
Review network design and configuration and make recommendations to improve functionality and quality
Management, administration, and support of multiple Call Center environments our team supports, including using Variphy
Lead vendors and technicians handling voice and data networks
Provide advice about level 4 engineering to Field Service teams and engineers
Provide management, administration, and support of core Voice & Video environment. Maintain same for Lab environment
Design, Maintenance, and certification of Teams, Zoom, and Webex calling and conferencing, as well as Cisco Jabber, IP phones, and various Video Devices (VTC)
Extensive UCCX Scripting, administration, and design

Qualification

Required

5-7 years working in a SIP environment, including required experience with Cisco hardware and software, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx
Strong ability to work independently and quickly resolve issues in a highly visible position
Strong understanding of when to include other team members to assist in problem resolution

Preferred

Additional experience with Cisco voice environments, Soft-phone systems, VMWare, CX-One, strong operating system knowledge, etc
