Responsibilities

Find, shoot, write, track and edit stories about high school athletes in all sports

Appear on camera in studio and live situations to report on games

Produce, edit and anchor prep sports segments on our weekend morning newscasts that include multiple video, graphic and live interview elements

Demonstrate excellent skills in all these disciplines: Shooting video, writing, editing and on-camera presentation

Use best practices to generate activity on all social and digital platforms, including submitting well written digital copy for each original television report

Required

A passion for sports and an interest in telling the stories of young athletes

One to three years of experience producing video sports content, including voice and on camera work

Proficiency in photography, editing and smooth on-camera work

A four year degree in journalism, communications or a related field preferred
