Epic Ambulatory Analyst (46480)

Responsibilities
Perform analysis, design, development, and maintenance of the Epic clinical applications and related clinical information systems
Understand relevant operational workflows and apply that knowledge to decisions to software build
Proactively identify impact of changes upon other applications and downstream systems
Provide timely user support through multiple communication methods and on-site support as needed
The ability to simultaneously manage and participate in numerous projects while ensuring weekly progress and timely completion
Conduct testing and ensure test scenarios are adequately documented
Monitor behavior of recently modified components in the production environment
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all patient medical records that are viewed or provided in accordance with HIPAA standards
Ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the position
The ability to work on-site
Predictable, reliable, and prompt attendance
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to perform analysis, design, development, and maintenance of the Epic clinical applications and related clinical information systems
Ability to understand relevant operational workflows and apply that knowledge to decisions to software build
Ability to proactively identify impact of changes upon other applications and downstream systems
Ability to provide timely user support through multiple communication methods and on-site support as needed

Ability to demonstrate or acquire in-depth knowledge of EpicCare Ambulatory and other Epic modules
Ability to understand the technical aspects of applications and integrated tools used to complete the business cycle and plan and manage actions in response to changing business needs
Ability to work both independently and in teams with limited supervision
Ability to independently prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects and/or priorities
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally (written and verbal) and make complex ideas easy to understand for everyone
Proficient in Electronic Medical Record systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
0-3 year of EpicCare Ambulatory analyst experience preferred
An active Epic (2020+) EpicCare Ambulatory certification preferred
Certifications relating to other Epic modules, software applications, technology infrastructure, and or clinical specializations are an advantage
