Employment Litigation Associate
Nisar Law Group, P.C. is seeking a full-time Employment Litigation Associate to join their expanding plaintiff-side employment law practice. The role involves independently managing a litigation docket, communicating with clients, and driving cases towards resolution while handling employment discrimination and related matters.

Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of employment discrimination, retaliation, and wage/hour matters from intake through resolution
Draft and finalize demand letters, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
Lead settlement negotiations and maintain regular follow-up with opposing counsel
Provide consistent communication and updates to clients and internal staff
Conduct legal research and develop case strategy in collaboration with the principal attorney
Attend Court Appearances, mediations, conferences, and depositions
Use Clio Manage and Clio Grow for case progression and documentation
Maintain strong responsiveness standards and ensure timely movement of all cases
Support a fast-paced environment focused on efficient case resolution and high-quality results
Qualification
Required
Licensed in New York, New Jersey, or both
3 to 8 years of experience in employment litigation or closely related fields
Strong knowledge of federal, NY, and/or NJ employment laws
Demonstrated experience handling discrimination, retaliation, and wage/hour matters
Track record of effective settlement negotiations and timely case movement
Excellent legal writing, communication, and client management skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage deadlines
Comfortable working in a remote or hybrid environment with daily responsiveness
