Responsibilities
Deliver Workday technical solutions and enhancements with a focus on scalability, performance, and alignment to business requirements
Partner with internal Workday support teams, business users, and 3rd party integrators to understand requirements and translate them into effective Workday technical designs
Design and develop advanced Reports, Dashboards, Integrations, and Automations using Workday toolsets (Core HCM/Finance, Accounting Center, Prism, Studio, Workday Extend, etc.)
Implement and maintain test automation frameworks (e.g., Kainos) to ensure high-quality releases
Participate in design sessions, code reviews, and solution architecture discussions to drive best practices
Diagnose, track, and resolve technical issues to ensure product quality and stability
Define and execute test strategies, test plans, and defect management processes for Workday solutions
Stay current with Workday Community updates, release features, and best practices to drive innovation
Qualification
Required
Workday Integration Essentials Certification / PRO in Technical Workday domains
8+ years of hands-on Workday technical implementation and development experience for Finance systems
Deep expertise in Workday Security, Business Processes, Reports, Calculated Fields, Integrations framework, Studio, Workday Extend, XSLT, Connectors & Document Transformation, PRISM and BIRT
Well versed with Workday Community and latest features/enhancements of Workday Releases. Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
Strong knowledge and practical experience with R2R, Quote to Cash, Workday Accounting Center and its integration with Finance and operational systems
Proficient in Web Services (SOAP and REST), data modeling, and relational database languages (SQL/SOQL)
Demonstrated experience leading at least 3 full life cycle Workday technical implementations
Ability to analyse business requirements and convert them into scalable Workday technical solutions
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology, version control (GIT), and CI/CD practices
Excellent communication skills for status, risks, and technical solutioning
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
Preferred
Hands-on expertise in Workday Financials modules (Account Receivables, Payables, Assets, GL, Banking & Settlement)
Advanced experience in Accounting Center and Prism Analytics for finance data transformation and reporting
Experience with Force.com or MuleSoft development is a plus
Exposure to enterprise ERP Finance applications beyond Workday
