Responsibilities
Set the technical direction and drive successful business outcomes for the marketplace platform
Be a technical lead on a team of software engineers working to design, build, grow and operate our services
Build the services where our customers will go to purchase pre-configured software installations on the platform of their choice
Drive tactical execution of features and projects, and own feature design
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in software development
Experience with distributed systems
Experience with the design of major features and launching them into production
Experience operating high-scale services and understanding how to make them more resilient
Ability to drive projects and tasks independently
Ability to provide technical leadership for development teams
Experience working with services that require data to travel long distances while abiding by compliance and regulations
Technical strength in building highly available, scalable, and redundant services
Understanding of operational excellence and instilling a proactive culture
Ability to find anomalies in graphs and root cause problems before they escalate
Experience in driving tactical execution of features and projects
Ownership of feature design
Experience in designing complex software systems
Ability to write code across an entire stack
Experience in driving operations excellence
Mentoring engineers in a start-up style environment
Fluency in English
