Responsibilities
Partner directly with aerospace commercial, defense, and space OEMs and suppliers, to resolve technical issues and interpret engineering specs and drawings
Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce Cost of Poor Quality
Develop and implement quality standards and process improvements across production
Support FAA Repair Station return-to-service authorizations
Host audits and customer visits and train cross-functional teams on quality best practices
Qualification
Required
5+ years in aerospace manufacturing or finishing
Strong analytical mindset
Hands-on with measuring tools
Experience with ERP/QMS systems (Syteline preferred)
Ability to interpret engineering specs and drawings
Experience in leading root-cause analysis and corrective actions
Ability to develop and implement quality standards and process improvements
Experience in supporting FAA Repair Station return-to-service authorizations
Experience in hosting audits and customer visits
Ability to train cross-functional teams on quality best practices
Preferred
AS9100 & Nadcap familiarity preferred
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
Quality certifications a plus
FAA Repairman Certificate and auditor training are advantageous
