Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of Sitemetric’s compliance with state and federal private security regulations, with minimal travel as necessary
Manage security licensing requirements across multiple states, including renewals, audits, and filings
Monitor regulatory changes and proactively update policies, procedures, and practices to ensure ongoing compliance
Develop, maintain, and deliver compliance training for staff and leadership
Collaborate with legal, operations, and security teams to resolve compliance-related issues
Conduct regular internal audits and assessments to identify risks and areas of improvement
Serve as the primary point of contact with regulatory agencies and licensing bodies
Prepare compliance reports for senior leadership and external regulators as needed
Support the company’s growth into new states and markets by ensuring security regulatory requirements are met in advance

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
7+ years of experience in security regulatory compliance, with demonstrated expertise in U.S. private security licensing and regulations
Proven track record of managing multi-state compliance programs
Strong knowledge of security industry standards, policies, and best practices
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams
Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening process (drug screen and background checks)

Preferred

Experience with security compliance in complex physical security environments, specifically large construction sites or related industries
Professional certifications in compliance, security, or risk management (e.g., CPP, PCI, CCEP)
Desire to work in a fast-paced, growing company, where you will be empowered to create and deliver on your own goals that contribute to the team's success
