Responsibilities
Lead a team of highly motivated engineering professionals responsible for the analytical design, validation, development, production, and field support for static structure components for all Growth Engines product lines
Conceive new and innovative concepts to improve structural integrity and durability of engine structure, mounting, rotating to static clearances, frames and cases
Drive continuous improvement, process and tool improvements, Criteria, Guidelines and Practices for commonality of analysis approaches through lessons learned, best practices, innovative thinking and comparative benchmarking
Manage a cross functional team at multiple sites
Understand and comply with all regulatory / certification / qualification activities associated with approving hardware for use in propulsion engines
Qualification
Required
Lead a team of highly motivated engineering professionals responsible for the analytical design, validation, development, production, and field support for static structure components for all Growth Engines product lines (HTF-NG, T55-714C)
Develop the next generation Engines products
Conceive new and innovative concepts to improve structural integrity and durability of engine structure, mounting, rotating to static clearances, frames and cases
Drive continuous improvement, process and tool improvements, Criteria, Guidelines and Practices for commonality of analysis approaches through lessons learned, best practices, innovative thinking and comparative benchmarking
Achieve state-of-the-art technology that will be integral in securing present and future business by consistently meeting or exceeding customer requirements
Manage a cross functional team at multiple sites
Technical disciplines include stress, vibration, deflection, low cycle and high cycle fatigue life, containment and thermal analyses
Understand and comply with all regulatory / certification / qualification activities associated with approving hardware for use in propulsion engines
