Responsibilities
Prepare new business applications and submissions for producers
Obtain required information for new business submissions
Process requests for insurance certificates
Process endorsements received via mail, email, and fax
Manage cancellations received via fax, email, or mail
Process renewals and complete renewal insurance reviews
Perform commercial audits for current clients
Monitor and complete lapse prevention reports
Review and process insurance company claim reports
Complete daily downloads from carriers
Maintain organized filing and documentation systems
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Commercial Producers or President
Contact customers regarding payment or underwriting notices
Qualification
Required
5+ years of P/C commercial lines insurance experience
Active Michigan resident P/C License
Strong multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently
Excellent listening and communication skills
Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Office)
