Learning Systems Analyst II
The National Council for Mental Wellbeing is a leading organization focused on mental health and substance use care. They are seeking a Learning Systems Analyst II who will be responsible for gathering requirements, documenting technical specifications, and performing user acceptance testing for Learning Delivery Systems platforms. This role requires a systems thinking approach to ensure the infrastructure meets client needs and business requirements.

Responsibilities
Serve as a technical team member for Learning Delivery Systems projects, ensuring robust configuration, optimal performance, and high reliability
Work with diverse teams, internally and externally, to gather requirements, educate on technical possibilities, collaborate on design, and write stories and documentation
Analyze business and user requirements to design and implement technical solutions for new features, enhancements, and integrations
Translate functional needs into detailed technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and actionable development plans
Develop and execute test cases for user acceptance testing (UAT) of learning delivery system features, enhancements, and integrations
Management of AWS cloud platforms and databases. This includes coding in JavaScript, JSON, XML, YAML, and HTML
Monitor and enforce data privacy, security, and accessibility standards across all learning delivery systems
Evaluate technical risks, propose mitigation strategies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives for delivery systems infrastructure and performance
Collaborate on the design, implementation, and maintenance of integrations between the delivery systems and enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, Azure/Fabric, Zendesk, Shopify, Microsoft Commerce, SurveyMonkey, etc.)
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including integration guides, system architecture diagrams
Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors to troubleshoot workflow challenges, optimize integrations, and support onboarding for VIP partners
Define scope of work and technical requirements for third-party vendors or consultants engaged for learning delivery system support or development
Collaborate with large-scale clients with advanced security and accessibility requirements, completing technical assessments, responding to inquiries, and adapting systems to align with new policies
Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues, bugs, and stakeholder feedback, ensuring timely resolution and communication
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience with LMS platforms such as LearnUpon LMS or similar
Solid understanding of e-learning standards, such as SCORM, xAPI, cmi5, LTI, AICC, etc
Experience using coding languages (HTML, XML, JavaScript/TypeScript, JSON, SQL)
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience delivering solutions on the AWS platform
Experience integrating SaaS systems
Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups to implement tool/system change
A systems mindset with the ability to think through end-to-end solutions to improve processes
Experience managing process improvement projects
Ability to work independently and lead multiple projects simultaneously involving various teams and vendors
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related field; or additional equivalent years of related work experience
Experience with containerization, Terraform, Kubernetes
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Experience using tools like Jira, Github, Asana, etc
