Responsibilities

Achieving or exceeding sales quota in assigned territory by developing new business opportunities and selling Parata portfolio of solutions into the retail and community pharmacy market through decision makers at the customer level
Develops and manages relationships with key decision makers (KDM) and thought leaders (TL)
Proactively seek out and develop new customer relationships through aggressive prospecting and lead generation campaigns
Develop and implement strategic account plans to improve growth and profitability within assigned territory
Execute a consultative sales approach, guiding prospects through each stage of the buying process
Own the customer relationship and build strategic partnerships as a trusted advisor
Participate in tradeshows and customer-facing events to support business development and sales initiatives
Consistently meet established monthly and annual sales quotas

Required

Bachelor's degree required
Hunter mentality: Proactively seek out and develop new customer relationships through aggressive prospecting and lead generation campaigns
Account strategy development: Develop and implement strategic account plans to improve growth and profitability within assigned territory
Sales process focused: Execute a consultative sales approach, guiding prospects through each stage of the buying process
Customer Relationship Development: Own the customer relationship and build strategic partnerships as a trusted advisor
Customer engagements: Participate in tradeshows and customer-facing events to support business development and sales initiatives
Performance: Consistently meet established monthly and annual sales quotas
Strong prospecting skills with a hunter mentality required
Strong negotiation and contract negotiating skills
Ability to effectively manage the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and close
Travel up to 75%
Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards
The candidate must reside in or near one of these locations

Preferred

5-10 years successful medical equipment sales (capital is preferred)
Experience working with privately owned businesses or healthcare practices preferred
Solid understanding of the pharmacy industry preferred
