Responsibilities
Select and utilize standard gauges to ensure quality. Inspect feature tolerances by selecting the tool with the required accuracy
Perform complex inspections on mechanical parts, components, assemblies and materials. May include but is not limited to purchased parts, in-process and final assemblies, and materials for workmanship and conformance to specifications/drawings
Ensure that all parts meet Radiant specifications and standards or that any non-conformance is documented
Program and setup CMMs and XRF analyzers to achieve the desired inspections
Perform documentation review and verification of certifications, specifications, and conformance to design and specification requirements
Support the development of inspection plans
Continuous improvement of Radiant’s precision inspection processes and procedures
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
3+ years of precision mechanical inspection experience
Experience programming and running CMMs and XRF analyzers
Experience working within quality management systems
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Proven track record of independent execution
Preferred
Nuclear or aerospace precision inspection experience
Basic understanding of electronics inspection
Experience operating forklifts and other inventory equipment
