Responsibilities
You enjoy serving as a training specialist, program manager, and facilitator who provides expert level support in the area of the human resource development
You are thrilled about using the USPTO's Learning Management System (LMS) to manage courses and programs by conducting tasks such as setting up sessions in the system, managing course enrollments, conducting evaluations, and running usage reports
You are excited about developing policies, instructions, and manuals for the effective and consistent accomplishment of human resources development and e-learning activities/programs for the US Patent and Trademark Office

You must meet the definition of specialized experience
Required to pass a background investigation and fingerprint check

Suitable for Federal Employment
You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position
Specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the federal service
GS-12: Experience in conducting and or facilitating new employee orientation; and Experience in providing advice in the area of human resource development; identifying training needs and evaluating programs using instruments such as questionnaires, surveys and assessments
GS-13: Experience in administering training and employee and/or leadership development programs; Experience in designing, developing, conducting, evaluating, and revising training programs, e.g. conducting training needs assessments, creating instructional materials, and facilitating sessions; and Experience in using a learning management system to conduct training related administrative activities such as planning, managing, and conducting training courses and programs
Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level
