Start in 2026 SummerLP Building Solutions is a leading provider of high-performance building solutions, and they are seeking a Summer Intern to support their Tax team. This internship offers hands-on experience in corporate income tax compliance, provision support, tax research, and indirect taxes.
Building Materials
Responsibilities
Assist with preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns
Support quarterly and year-end tax provision calculations (ASC 740)
Help gather and organize financial data for tax filings and audits
Perform basic tax research and summarize findings for the team
Assist in maintaining tax workpapers and documentation
Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
Qualification
Required
Basic knowledge of accounting and tax concepts
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Strong organizational skills
Interpersonal and communication skills
Time management skills
Preferred
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Accounting or Tax
Must have an expected graduation date of August 2026 or later
Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
