Responsibilities

Assist in the design of electrical power, lighting, grounding/bonding, and special systems (tele/data, security, fire alarm, raceway, cable tray)

Perform 3D modeling and drafting tasks using Revit and AutoCAD MEP

Conduct field investigations and prepare markups/reviews

Produce discipline deliverables and coordinate with other design teams

Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards

Required

Associate degree or technical trade school certification in Electrical Design or related field

0–3 years of relevant experience (design or construction)

Basic proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Microsoft Office

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Preferred

Fundamental experience with performing engineering calculations, and developing and implementing electrical lighting, power, and special systems designs

Ability to interface with client and external partners

Ability to travel as for client development and project execution

Fundamental experience conducting field surveys of existing conditions and support of field reporting

Proficient at fundamental electrical design calculations under the supervision of an engineer
