Responsibilities

Proficient operating building management systems (BMS)

Ensure the office, lab, model shop, and café are properly maintained and operational. Address maintenance requests promptly

Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for HVAC and building systems

Manage service contracts and coordinate with external vendors for repairs and maintenance services

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies

Act as the point of contact for facility-related emergencies, ensuring swift resolution

Oversee small renovation and improvement projects as needed

Conduct routine inspections and address any hazards

Recommends ways to automate various maintenance functions. Identifies opportunities to reduce operating cost. Support sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency improvements

Required

5+ years in facility maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors

Preferred

Certifications - OSHA, EPA, or relevant trade certifications
