Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive project plans specific to electrical systems, including scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
Define project goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, considering electrical codes and standards
Lead and motivate project teams, including electrical superintendents, foremen, electricians, subcontractors, and other site personnel
Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews
Monitor electrical project costs and financial performance against budget
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for electrical installations, ensuring critical milestones are met
Ensure all electrical work adheres to project specifications, industry standards (e.g., NEC), and regulatory requirements
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, general contractors, and other key stakeholders regarding electrical aspects
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on all project sites, with particular emphasis on electrical safety protocols (e.g., LOTO, arc flash)
Prepare and present regular project reports, including progress, financial status, and forecasts, with an emphasis on electrical scope
Maintain accurate project documentation, including permits, electrical drawings, specifications, and correspondence

Required

2+ years of progressive experience in electrical project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects of varying scales and complexities
Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and installation methods
In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant electrical standards and regulations
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore, etc.) and electrical design/CAD software
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
Solid financial acumen and experience with budget management
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
Willingness to travel to project sites as required
