Group and Catering Sales Manager
Little Palm Island Resort & Spa is a unique private island destination known for its luxury offerings and exceptional service. The Group Sales Manager will be responsible for driving group sales, managing leads, and executing banquet events while collaborating with various hotel departments to ensure quality service.

Responsibilities
Solicitation of group business in accordance with the individual goals as well as accomplishing property budget
Prospecting, sales calls, selling, negotiations, closing sales and meeting specified budgetary goals set in place each year
Understand the luxury product, the luxury sales market, and the luxury market needs
Participating in daily business review, working with other departments within the hotels to provide quality service to customers
Manage the leads and execution of group sales and banquet events
Various duties as assigned by Area Director of Sales
Qualification
Required
Know how to make a profitable sales call, how to negotiate, how to overcome objections, and how to fully service and execute a sale
Sales experience, with an understanding of Food and Beverage events in a luxury setting
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Consistent follow-up
Friendly, helpful willingness to assist other team members
Efficient, perceptive, and responsive
Highly professional, welcoming personality
Experience driving revenue to our private island destination
Preferred
1 - 2 years hotel sales experience within an Independent, Lifestyle Hotel/Resort preferred
