Project Engineer I
Superior Construction is an American family-owned heavy civil contractor dedicated to providing innovative solutions for the nation's infrastructure needs. The Project Engineer I will assist in managing and executing projects while collaborating with project managers and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders.
Construction
Responsibilities
Develop and implement project execution strategies
Maintain and communicate various project performance metrics and analytics
Provide leadership and support to functional area managers
Support forecasting and reporting
Act as a liaison between the superintendent and the subcontractors in coordinating the delivery date of materials by analyzing the schedule and the required installation dates
Construction engineering
Work with subcontractors and vendors
Foster and maintain favorable relationships with project stakeholders
Market and promote the Superior Construction brand
Assist with the leadership and development of team members
Foster and maintain a safe work environment
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
BS Construction, Engineering, or other relevant fields of study
Entry-level to four years of industry tenure
Field-based project execution experience
Field-based leadership roles
Knowledge of route surveying and scheduling
Strong oral and written communication skills
Safety Trained Supervisor Construction Certification
Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver's license before employment
Preferred
Viewpoint experience is a plus
