Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate usage of RF test equipment and shared lab resources (such as environmental test chambers) across multiple buildings at the same site
Ensure that all test equipment maintains active calibration status
Support design engineers by enforcing lab organization, cleanliness, ESD-safe handling practices, and restocking commonly-used components
Set up, tear down, reconfigure, calibrate, validate, and document specialized RF test benches given general direction and guidance
Drive physical changes to the lab work areas through facility requests from electrical, mechanical, and networking contractors
Assemble and rework printed circuit boards as needed
Perform electromechanical assembly of specialized test racks and test shelves
Manage shipping/receiving logistics of delicate test equipment and test articles
Perform routine preventative maintenance on lab equipment
Maintain up-to-date CAD drawings of the lab areas
Manage daily and weekly cleanroom operations; interface with building information systems such as particle counters, pressure sensors, and power monitors

Required

High school degree or equivalency certificate
2+ years of professional experience in a hands-on testing and/or manufacturing environment, OR a bachelor's degree in an engineering, math or science discipline
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
Ability to work directly with the hardware on the floor while being comfortable stooping, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and standing on lifts, ladders, etc
Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed

Preferred

Ability to solder 0201 components under a microscope
Understanding of technical documentation, engineering drawings, and schematics
Computer and analytical skills including proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, shop floor management software (ERP), and related programs
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience fabricating and repairing cable harnesses including: soldering, crimping, and assembling connectors
Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and navigating/manipulate files
Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment
