Responsibilities

Work With Engineering Director to establish clear product requirements from market needs

Creating product concepts derived from product requirements that meet the objectives

Balancing key aspects in design that may be conflicting such as size vs serviceability, standard vs cost, performance vs weight and size etc

Working with design teams for mechanical and electrical to guide their detailed design work in alignment with initial design vision without compromise

Help design teams in aspects of manufacturability, processes that might be needed vs plant capability and serviceability vs installed context and skills available in the field

Enhance team talent with mentorship, guidance, coaching and training in the disciplines one is expert in
