Associate Analyst, P&C Technology

Responsibilities
Assist in facilitating meetings with end users to understand business requirements and enhancement requests
Collect, manage, and synthesize requirements from key stakeholders
Translate business requirements and uses cases to develop and deliver functional & technical specifications, requirements documents, detailed use cases for new & changed features or functionality
Develop and present business requirements and implementation plans for stakeholder approval
Assist other team members with analysis activities and material preparation
Document the workflow required to meet deliverables and maintain integration requirements documentation
Provide work estimates to managers and project managers as requested based on requirements gathered
Contribute to the development of long-term technology roadmaps and business strategies
Create and review test plans with the team and define the QA tasks for project plans
Provide task time estimates and prepare a QA Test Strategy document
Develop the final test execution report, using existing template(s) and communicate to the project team
Document outcomes of executed test plans and necessary approvals
Ensure adherence to defined standards
Provide post-implementation support to business stakeholders
Analyze system issues, identify root causes, and develop strategic remediation plans by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and accurately documenting issues/problems and their probable causes
Identify root cause, test, and implement solutions
Serve in a liaison role between application vendors, internal IT groups, and end users
Help capture employee data and knowledge with employee lifecycle (from recruiting to termination) as it relates to integration to other systems
Partner with cross-functional teams to define and drive business process improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (Computer science preferably)
0-2+ years of experience in similar roles
Aptitude to understand HR Systems and integrations
Experience and understanding of complex logic used in integrations
Proficient in Excel for data analysis
Experience using Jira or other issue tracking tool
Ability to consult with users/SMEs to define, gather and document functional business requirements
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and/or employees
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or government regulations specifically around payroll and benefits
Exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
Excellent time management and organization skills. Must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, re-prioritize based on business demands coupled with a strong sense of urgency
Exceptional customer service focus with a strong bias for action
Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to drive action
Strong ability to work with their customers and prioritize issues based on need and urgency
High data analysis capability and ability to use data to solve problems
Preferred
Familiarity with media and entertainment industries or experience in a national/global organization
Workday experience is a plus, not a requirement
Experience with International payroll and benefits is a plus
Experience in HR Systems Technology/Integrations and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
