Responsibilities
Solid modeling components and assemblies
Creation of 2D and 3D “macros” used on control panel layout diagrams and CNC drilling information
Creating drawings to support new control panel product activities (AutoCad & Solidworks) including purchased parts, fabricated parts, instructions, and assembly drawings
Interpreting and implement any changes provided by the customer or Engineering via ECRs/ECOs
Work closely with engineers and production personnel during panel construction
Maintain accurate and current documentation on any changes and requests
Qualification
Required
Must be actively enrolled and in pursuit of Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline
Exposure to AutoCAD, Solidworks, or similar drawing software
Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
Good organization skills with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
Excellent interpersonal, communication and administrative skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred
Experience with PDM preferred (Parts Data Management)
