US Reinsurance Broking - Associate Director

Responsibilities

Work closely with our broker and analytics teams in preparation and presentation of relevant materials to our clients and reinsurers
Assist the Surety broker team and its customers by proving a full array of reinsurance placement services including the following:
Preparation of Reinsurance Submission
Analysis of client data
Assistance with negotiations
Management of special acceptances to client coverage
Marketing reinsurance terms and conditions
Monitoring the placement process
Production of post-placement materials
Serving as a liaison between the broker and contract wordings teams
Manage all compliance and administrative initiatives for the team
Participate actively in both client and marketing facing roles
Conduct industry research and peer comparisons as directed

Qualification

Required

1+ years of experience in primary or surety reinsurance, insurance or the financial lines industry
Knowledge of coverage provided by Surety products, the Surety industry and current market players
Bachelor's Degree from a Four-Year College or University
Analytical capabilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Strong organizational, written, verbal, presentation and social skillset
Ability and willingness to travel to meetings, audits and industry events

Preferred

Preference to be in Philadelphia or New York City office
