Responsibilities

Provide instruction on Air Traffic Control topics and procedures using a Tower Simulation System

Ensure compliance with FAA procedures related to Air Traffic - College Training Initiative (AT-CTI) requirements

Mentor students in the FAA ATC application process

Qualification

Air Traffic Control experienceFAA Certified Professional ControllerBasic computer skillsCompliance with FAA proceduresAdacel TSSMentoring students

Required

Four years experience in an Air Traffic Control tower or Radar Approach Control

Basic computer skills

FAA issued Certified Professional Controller certificate

Adjuncts contribute 5% of base salary and the college contributes 8% of base salary. There are seven State-authorized ABP investment carriers. Life insurance benefits through ABP are payable to the beneficiary at 3.5X the member's salary.
