We are seeking a Tier II Network Engineer to join our team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs end user help desk, providing engineering, testing, and implementation support across multiple networking topologies and technologies.

Responsibilities

Work within a collaborative team to provide engineering, testing and implementation support across multiple wired and wireless networking topologies and technologies both in support of current and new Core Engineering projects and customers

Customer care and satisfaction is a must in this position

Qualification

CCNA certificationCisco networkingJuniper networkingNOC experienceRoute/switch knowledge

Required

3 years of experience in a NOC environment or equivalent experience

Must have a CCNA certification or 3 years of relative work

Must have experience with the implementation and troubleshooting of enterprise level Cisco and Juniper wired and/or wireless networks as well as familiarity with other vendors including Juniper, Mist and Aruba Networks

Applicant must have basic route/switch knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities

Must successfully pass drug screening

Must be able to pass a Veterans Affairs background check

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must be able to pass a full background check and/or obtain a Government clearance
