Account Manager, US Automotive Robotics
ABB is a global market leader in robotics and automation, currently entering an exciting new chapter with the acquisition by SoftBank Group. The Account Manager for US Automotive Robotics will be responsible for managing the order pipeline and growing ABB's market share in the automotive robotics sector, requiring frequent travel and strategic sales planning.

Responsibilities
Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work growth actions
Understanding the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sustainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer’s business and business environment, translating them into the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABB
Participating in the development of sales strategies for the accounts through providing current business and long-term plans for the customer
Defining sales targets, giving input on market price developments monitoring competitors’ activity with the account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are implemented
Submitting complete and accurate proposal and forecast information within Salesforce
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree PLUS minimum 4 years sales experience OR Associate's degree PLUS minimum 6 years sales experience OR High School diploma/GED PLUS minimum 8 years' sales experience
Previous Automotive industry experience; experience in selling automation, preferably robots and robotic automation systems for a variety of applications
Ability to create and develop relationships with new customers
Ability to travel up to 70% weekly
Candidates must possess work authorization that would allow them to work permanently in the US without sponsorship
