The Desktop Support Specialist will provide IT support by triaging and resolving hardware and software issues, managing IT inventory, and maintaining documentation for the Desktop Support team.

Responsibilities

Triage incoming IT requests/issues and work on technical issues related to workstations

Troubleshoot computer/printer hardware issues and work with IT management to RMA or purchase equipment as needed

Maintaining IT stock and work with IT management to update as needed

Create and build upon existing documentation that pertain to the Desktop Support team

Perform other duties as requested

Qualification

Required

High School diploma or equivalent required

Minimum 1 year previous experience preferred

Experience using and troubleshooting basic to intermediate issues with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Apple MacOS, Apple iOS, and Google Android

Professional and courteous to internal end-users

Skilled with building a working computer using compatible components

Capable to work effectively on their own with little supervision

Ability to develop, test and implement solutions to unique or unusual problems detected during troubleshooting
