REVOLVE is a next-generation fashion retailer targeting millennial and Generation Z consumers. The Fabric R&D Assistant will support the Fabric Research and Development team by managing fabric data, assisting with communication, and maintaining the fabric library in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Quarterly WIP maintenance, ensuring all fabric data is up to date and in correct format

Assist R&D Manager/Associates to input fabric information into PLM

Assist the R&D Manager/Associates with internal and external communication and follow up

Hold/order and track sample yardage

Assist R&D Manager/Associates by setting up binders for each brand/each season

Assist with taking pictures, uploading and renaming files of fabric hangers

Work with cross functional teams to prepare for buy meetings

Help track incoming sourcing/counter sourcing/submit packages

Organize physical fabric library and assist in maintaining the library

Complete ad-hoc tasks and assignments as directed by management

Required

1+ year experience working in a similar role

Experience with data entry

Excellent computer skills including Excel and Google Docs

Strong sense of urgency

Confidence to speak up and ask questions

Works well in a fast paced, ever-changing environment - strong multi-tasking skills

Effective time management and ability to stay organized

Must be able and willing to lift and carry up to 10 lbs., perform frequent repetitive finger, hand and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time

Preferred

Degree in Fashion, Product Development or similar field

Experience with fabrics
