The director will oversee technology services and manage the technology infrastructures and applications for the Baptist Health System - School of Health Professions.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall supervision of technology services and management of the technology infrastructures and applications for the Baptist Health System - School of Health Professions

Manages first look maintenance and support for BHS IT infrastructure supporting the staff

Responsible for asset management of all on-site information technology resources

Enforces corporate security standards and ensures physical and technical security of the IT infrastructure

Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period

Other related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or 8 years of equivalent experience

8 years related field experience

5 years experience in leadership and management skills

3 years experience in supporting infrastructure and technology

5 years experience with Windows server and Windows microcomputer technology

Preferred

Master's Degree in information technology, computer science, or a closely related field; AND five (5) years of management-level information technology experience

Previous director level experience in an educational or business setting

2 years experience in developing and maintaining on-line computer based learning applications

Certified Microsoft Systems Engineer
