Responsibilities

Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and secure network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
Experience developing and maintaining network documentation, including topologies, configurations, procedures, and runbooks
Knowledge of TCP or IP stack, routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, or EIGRP, and switching technologies, including VLANs, STP, or port-channeling
Ability to manage and optimize network monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure proactive identification and resolution of issues
Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex network performance, connectivity, and security issues across LAN or WAN
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience in a large-scale enterprise network environment, or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8+ years of experience in a large-scale enterprise network environment
Vendor Certification such as CCNA, CCNP Routing and Switching or Enterprise, JNCIA, or JNCIP Certification
Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 60 days of hire date
Experience in network automation using scripting languages such as Python, and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Terraform
Experience mentoring junior team members and participating in cross-functional project teams
Experience with Software-Defined Networking (SDN) concepts and tools such as Cisco ACI or SD-WAN
Experience with network security best practices and technologies, including Next-Generation Firewalls such as Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, or Juniper SRX and VPN solutions
Ability to clearly articulate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to pay strict attention to detail
Possession of excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
