Sr Tax Analyst

Responsibilities
Tax return compliance and preparation of Federal, State, and International corporate income tax returns
Preparation of the working papers used to support the global tax provision and tax filings
Identify, research and evaluate alternative tax positions to determine and implement a supportable, cost-effective filing position for the tax return filings
Manage the timely and efficient administration of information assimilation and reporting through the review of processes and implementation of procedures that improve speed and efficiency of administration
Monitor industry positions and legislative activities meaningful to Honeywell’s business operations, model scenarios to assess future impacts
Preparation and review of annual tax provision and tax provision to return reconciliations to be recorded and submitted for global consolidation. Collaborating efforts between outside tax return service providers and the internal finance organization
Qualification
Required
3+ years Big Four Tax and/or Corporate Tax experience, with time spent on large US multi-national companies
Technical knowledge of US Federal and State tax laws & regulations, including US international provisions like Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, FTC and BEAT
Experience with ASC 740 income tax provisions and financial reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in Corp tax, Alteryx and advance excel capabilities
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Experience in a corporate tax environment or public accounting
Attention to detail and accuracy in work
Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on tax laws and regulations
