Responsibilities
Responsible for conducting day-to-day business with sellers and serve as the primary contact for seller related issues (including frequent phone calls and occasional in-person communications)
Review and draft deeds for ES3’s acquisition of various interests
Communicate with sellers and operators regarding curative requirements prior to closing
Manage and oversee the company's mineral portfolio, including verification of ownership interests prior to executing division orders and verification of tax statements
Assist ES3 with due diligence process in acquisitions and/or divestitures, including title examination, lease analysis, and curative
Other duties and responsibilities as determined by management
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a landman, division order analyst, or related field
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Flexible with changing priorities depending on land projects
Hands-on experience in most phases of Land Department functions
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Preferred
Experience in drafting and negotiating Purchase and Sale Agreements, leasing, or business development
