Infoorigin inc is seeking a highly experienced Desktop Support Consultant to join their User Support Services team. The consultant will handle first and second-level technical support, resolve complex issues, and provide high-quality customer service to support institutional IT operations.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, repair, and modify complex hardware and software systems independently
Troubleshoot and resolve first and second-level technical issues; escalate when necessary
Provide technical guidance and support through various communication channels
Document issues, resolutions, and contribute to improving support procedures
Work both independently and collaboratively within a support team environment
Lead or guide junior team members when needed

Qualification

Desktop support experienceMicrosoft Active DirectoryWindows 10/11 supportMacOS supportTroubleshooting skillsCustomer serviceComputer security knowledgeTicketing systems experienceCommunication skillsTeam collaborationProblem-solving

Required

Strong knowledge of computer software, operating systems, hardware, and networking
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory
Solid hardware and software troubleshooting abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proven experience delivering professional and courteous customer service
10+ years of desktop support experience
Strong familiarity with advanced support concepts, tools, and procedures
Ability to work autonomously and exercise solid judgment
Capability to plan, prioritize, and lead tasks independently
Creative problem-solving and high degree of technical latitude

Preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
3+ years of experience supporting Windows 10/11
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA)
2+ years of experience supporting macOS (OSX)
Knowledge of computer security best practices
