Patient Financial Services Specialist

Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, providing timely and accurate information
Monitor and manage Work Queues to ensure timely resolution of tasks and issues
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in the patient’s account
Provide training and support to users on the effective use of the EPIC system
Work closely with RCM team and Operations to ensure seamless support and service delivery
Generate and analyze reports on customer service activities, identifying trends and areas for improvement
Regularly communicate with leadership to report trends, issues, and potential system optimization opportunities
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare customer service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Proficiency in using the EPIC system
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interpret insurance correspondence, remittance, etc., and communicate clearly to responsible party
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
EPIC Certification preferred
