Responsibilities
Translate system requirements into compliant complex printed board assembly designs
Analog, mixed-signal and digital CCA design, schematic capture and analysis
Technical trade studies, evaluation of technology insertion/upgrades, laboratory test and troubleshooting
Evaluate hardware module performance using simulation tools and prototype hardware in a Laboratory environment
Simplify the Engineering Service Model, knowledge transfer by mentoring junior engineering talent
Create design documentation and verification test procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Solid fundamentals of analog/power/mixed-signal/digital circuitry
Familiar with electrical engineering design, schematic capture and analysis tools
Eligible to obtain a DOD Security Clearance
Preferred
Experience with printed board assembly (PBA, PCB, PWB) design using Cadence tools
Strong hands-on lab skills with ability to prototype and test analog, mixed-signal and digital circuits
Experience with PCB simulation tools
Experience in Power Supply (AC to DC / DC to DC) design
Experience developing compact embedded systems for harsh environments
Familiarity with AS9145 compliant processes
Experience with mission-critical defense electronics, ruggedized board design and compliance
