Responsibilities

Develop, standardize, and maintain financial models for operating projects with up-to-date data on performance actuals, project financing, updated project assumptions and forecasts, modeling current and future portfolio performance

Lead efforts to create efficiencies and eliminate potential for error in operating projects financial models and analysis

Manage corporate portfolio model for tracking and analyzing portfolio performance and investment decisions

Analyze performance in tracking models, conducting investment appraisal and scenario analysis for operational assets

Recommend changes to leadership on assets within the portfolio based upon investment performance

Analyze and propose opportunities for operational improvement

Coordinate with Development, Asset Management, and Accounting teams to systematically feedback lessons learned from investment appraisal into investment underwriting assumptions (pipeline projects) and annual budgeting (operational projects)

Train in and mentor new employees on the Investments and Portfolio Management team

Audit pro forma financial models to ensure accurate representation of project risks and returns

Support the Chief Investment Officer and Senior Director by appropriately completing and/or delegating any miscellaneous tasks that arise

Grow and maintain a network of industry professionals (project finance, investment banking, potential investors, etc.)

Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or accounting

5-8 years' experience in financial modeling

Deep expertise in complex financial modeling with a preference for experience modeling energy or infrastructure assets

Collaborative positive attitude

Driven and self-motivated

Analytically minded and detail-oriented

Strong written and oral communicator

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

Experience in renewable energy, power, or infrastructure preferred, but not required
