Assistant Manager Accounting Operations Center

The Assistant Manager, Accounting Operations Center will oversee financial operations and ensure compliance while driving process improvements and collaborating with senior leadership to optimize financial strategy.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure efficiency and compliance
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Monitor financial performance based on established KPI Dashboards and provide insights to senior leadership
Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and corporate policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows and support business objectives
Mentor a team of finance professionals, promoting professional development and high performance
Adapts to carrier changes and promotes process improvement
Proficient in banking systems and requirements
Utilize NFP systems
Identifying and reporting more complex issues to Accounting Service Center AVP
Work with technology to identify resources and solutions to optimize efficiency
Develop and maintain advanced knowledge of current operational accounting process and regulatory/audit requirements, manage internal audit requests and enforce adherence to internal and external accounting principles and policies
Qualification
Required
Overseeing financial operations, strategic planning, and process optimization within the Accounting Operations Center
Ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation, direct bill, financial reporting, and internal controls
Developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure efficiency and compliance
Driving process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Monitoring financial performance based on established KPI Dashboards and providing insights to senior leadership
Ensuring compliance with GAAP, SOX, and corporate policies
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows and support business objectives
