Sr. Sales Executive
AFL is a leading provider of fiber optic products and services, founded in 1984. The Senior Sales Executive will focus on sales, business development, and account management, building strong customer relationships and developing comprehensive Business Development Plans.
Responsibilities
Identifying, qualifying, and capturing sales opportunities by meeting with clients, performing market research, and ultimately presenting advanced integrated solutions. Offerings will include technologies such as structured cabling, datacenter infrastructure, wireless networks, Audio Video, and physical security
Operate as the client’s advocate, enlisting other departments as needed and driving progress and solutions
Identifying customer requirements and developing appropriate solutions
Developing and maintaining a strategic Prospects list
Maintaining company systems such as Salesforce
Developing new accounts and new contacts
Preparing, presenting, and reviewing solutions and quotations to prospective customers to capture sales opportunities
Achieving sales objectives and quotas
Developing comprehensive Business Development Plan to establish goals and objectives
Bidding and negotiating potential opportunities and projects
Qualification
Required
Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in outside sales
Ability to develop and present comprehensive sales proposals
Handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, Visio, and Power Point
Comprehensive understanding of contract scope and requirements for pro-active management of projects and integration into processes
