The role involves publicizing services, maintaining client databases, scheduling screenings, and collaborating with service providers to support veterans' needs.

Responsibilities

Publicize U.S.VETS services by visiting shelters, treatment programs, transitional housing, and other community locations where veterans may congregate

Maintain a database of client information and referrals to track outreach efforts and screening appointments

Schedule screenings and transportation for veterans entering programs and assist with transportation for events

Collaborate with external service providers to ensure timely collection of client paperwork

Produce weekly reports on outreach activities and veteran engagement

Communicate upcoming projects and special events to the outreach team and community partners

Attend weekly outreach meetings and contribute to team planning

Perform other duties as assigned to support outreach and engagement goals

Completing VA dashboard assessments and intake forms for specialized programs (e.g., SSG FOX)

Building rapport with clients and maintaining strong relationships with community partners
