Responsibilities
Oversee preparation and review of accurate financial statements for multiple entities
Drive consolidation processes across 36 entities, ensuring compliance with GAAP
Implement and enhance internal controls and accounting processes to improve efficiency and mitigate risk
Partner with leadership to establish best practices for systems and workflows , addressing gaps in existing processes
Manage complex accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close
Collaborate with auditors and ensure timely completion of audits
Provide financial insights and reporting to support strategic decision-making
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Proven expertise in financial statement preparation, consolidations, and internal controls
Strong understanding of GAAP and multi-entity accounting
Experience working in environments with multiple systems and building processes from the ground up
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
CPA strongly preferred
Big 4 or regional firm experience highly desirable
Experience in multi-entity consolidations and complex financial reporting
Exposure to private equity-owned businesses or fast-growth environments is a plus
ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) preferred
Experience with 'WHIP Schedules' Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules
