Universal Pre-k Administrative Program Coordinator (Full Time $24 per hour)

The UPK Administrative Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the enrollment and operation of the Universal Pre-k program, ensuring compliance with various regulations and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Oversee the effective operation of the program including managing enrollment, registration and billing
Oversee the recruiting and enrollment processes for eligible UPK and Head Start students, including conducting intakes, managing required documentation, maintaining wait-lists, and tracking enrollment data
Track and submit billing for SCSD on a monthly basis
Create and maintain student files in compliance with SCSD, HS, CACFP, and OCFS
Create and maintain class rosters, complete online applications, submit paperwork to SCSD registration office
Collect and submit updated student medical records to SCSD Health Office and send referrals to Head Start Intake office
Collect, compile, report immunization data to the NYS Dept. of Health and attend regular meetings including weekly supervision, monthly Admin. team, monthly staff meetings, quarterly Management Team meetings
Act as professional role model for staff and participants, maintain guidelines established by the funding sources and Catholic Charities policies and procedures
Perform other tasks/duties as assigned and stay in compliance with OCFS mandated training requirements

Qualification

NYS Teaching CertificationAdministrative experienceSupervisory experienceEnrollment managementCommunication skills

Required

NYS Teaching Certification, Early Childhood Education; Birth to 2nd or N to 6th with up to three (3) years of experience working in a school setting a plus
Administrative experience required
Valid NYS Drivers License
Registered & Insured Vehicle
NYS registry clearance
