Responsibilities
Perform tasks related to Fixed Asset accounting for assigned entities
Conduct thorough financial due diligence on target companies, including analyzing financial statements, identifying risks and opportunities, and assessing the impact of the on financials
Assists/leads in the planning, directing, and coordinating accounting operational functions and month end close
Assists with accounting’s operational functions for monthly, quarterly and year end close. Prepare and analyze reports, including consolidated financial statements, to provide insights into the financial performance of assigned entities
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying your knowledge to assess the financial health and strategic accounting practices of assigned entities
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout the process
Continuously identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes, systems, and controls to support the company's growth objectives
Report regularly on Key Performance Indicators as well as GAAP financials, contributing to strategic decision-making
Responsible for meeting deadlines in month-end close procedures and support annual financial statement reviews/audits
Collaborate closely with Controller and cross-functional teams, including legal, operations, and finance, to ensure successful execution of accounting initiatives as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor degree in Accounting
3-5 years experience in finance or accounting role
In-depth knowledge of GAAP
Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
Preferred
Master Degree or CPA preferred
Managerial experience preferred
Experience with QuickBooks accounting software preferred
