Phaxis is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Manager with strong experience in IT Security and Cybersecurity to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of security-focused technology initiatives. This role involves managing cross-functional teams and ensuring that all projects align with organizational security standards and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

End-to-end project management for cybersecurity initiatives, including security tool implementations, vulnerability remediation programs, identity/access management upgrades, and compliance-driven projects

Partner with InfoSec, IT, engineering, and business teams to define scope, milestones, timelines, and resource needs

Oversee cybersecurity risk assessments, control implementation, patch management cycles, and incident response improvements

Ensure project alignment with frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, and organizational security policies

Develop detailed project plans, RAID logs, dashboards, and executive updates to ensure visibility and transparency

Coordinate vendor relationships related to security technologies, including contract management and evaluation of third-party risk

Facilitate UAT/QA testing, documentation, and project handoff to operations teams

Track KPIs and ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule

Promote strong governance, compliance, and secure-by-design project practices
